A very simple but delicious granola
Recipe type: Breakfast
Serves: approx. 15 cups
Wet Ingredients:
  • 1 c honey
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
Dry Ingredients
  • 5 c. old-fashioned oats
  • 1 c. almonds (cut or coarsely chopped)
  • 1 c. unrefined sesame seeds
  • 1 c. sunflower seeds
  • 1 c. shredded coconut
  • 1c. almond or soy flour
  • 1 c. non-instant powdered milk
  • 1 c. wheat germ
  • 1 c. flax or chia seed (optional)
  1. In smaller mixing bowl, combine the honey and vegetable oil. pour the honey into the oil while stirring for the best result. Try to mix the honey and oil as uniformly as possibly before adding to the dry ingredients.
  2. In a large bowl, add the dry ingredients and stir to mix before adding the honey and oil mixture. Combine the two mixtures in the large bowl while stirring to cover the dry ingredients uniformly.
  3. Spread the mixture on 2 cookie sheets (we place parchment paper under for better results) and bake at 275 degrees for 55 minutes or until slightly browned.
